The base harbour is Ayamonte, the most western town you can find on the Andalusian coast. It lies 45 km. west of the city of Huelva, right on the highway between Seville and Faro (Portugal). Ayamonte, with 16.000 inhabitants is a town of great commercial and fishing tradition and is surrounded by some very beautiful nature spots of great beauty and ecological value. 
The Ayamonte marina is situated on the vertex formed by the Costa de la Luz, the Algarve and the river Guadiana: A privileged location as it is only a few minutes away from the open sea and a magnificent interior dock. The wetlands, the beaches and the peculiar light of this coast make it a unique place to enjoy nature and navigation.
Ayamonte is on the highway between Seville (120 km.) and Faro (50 km.). Both cities have an international airport and Seville also has a high speed train connection with Madrid. From Seville you can catch a long-distance coach (DAMAS, S.A.) to Ayamonte.
